Versus Mode

Description

Versus Mode is a multiplayer mode that enables players or computer players to fight against each other or in a variety of settings. Versus Mode appears in Super Smash Bros. Tourney as one of the common game modes. The characters can participate in a variety of battles including battle royales and team battles. The players can also set the rules for the battle including the amount of time, the amount of stock, the items that can be used, handicaps, and the stage that the battle will take place on. The players can also choose settings for the computer players including computer players level. Super Smash Bros. Tourney's Versus Mode includes the following modes, which are all re-used from Brawl:

• Rotation
• Special Brawl

Unlockables

You will unlock a lot of things in Versus Mode.

Characters

1. 3 matches or 1 match with Wario: Waluigi will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Rainbow Road stage.
2. 5 matches: Loki will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Avenger Laboratory stage.
3. 10 matches: Beast will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the PictoChat stage.
4. 16 matches: E. Honda will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Deserted Temple stage.
5. 22 matches: M.O.D.O.K. will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the A.I.M. Factory stage.
6. 35 matches: Hammer Bro. will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Delfino Plaza stage.
7. 37 matches: Wesker will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Tricell Laboratory stage.
8. 39 matches: Christie will challenge the winner to a brawl. She will be yours if you can defeat her on the Jungle Japes stage.
9. 45 matches or 22 matches with White Queen: Nemesis T-Type will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Tricell Laboratory stage.
10. 55 matches: Shuma-Gorath will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Chaos Dimension stage.
11. 65 matches: Recoil Bro. will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Delfino Plaza stage.
12. 67 matches or one match with Mokujin using a veteran character's fighting style: Combot will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Robot Factory stage.
13. 69 matches: Master Chief will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Master Chief's Office stage.
14. 70 matches: Mephisto will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Battlefield stage.
15. 75 matches or 10 matches with Doctor Strange: Dormammu will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Chaos Dimension stage.
16. 92 matches: War Machine will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Avenger Laboratory stage.
17. 95 matches: Fire Bro. will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Delfino Plaza stage.
18. 105 matches: Oni will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Final Destination stage.
19. 119 matches: Gen will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Avatar Realm stage.
20. 130 matches or 15 matches on the Daily Bugle stage: Taskmaster will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Daily Bugle stage.
21. 150 matches: Unknown will challenge the winner to a brawl. She will be yours if you can defeat her on the Final Destination stage.
22. 156 matches: Katara will challenge the winner to a brawl. She will be yours if you can defeat her on the Avatar Realm stage.
23. 177 matches: Zasalamel will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Delfino Plaza stage.
24. 200 matches: Hawkeye will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Avenger Laboratory stage.
25. 212 matches: AncientOgre will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Kyoto International School Principal's Office stage.
26. 215 matchees: Blanka will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Pitch-Black Jungle stage.
27. 225 matches or one match with Mokujin using Pyrrha's fighting style: Elysium will challenge the winner to a brawl. She will be yours if you can defeat her on the Spear Pillar stage.
28. 235 matches: Grunty will challenge the winner to a brawl. She will be yours if you can defeat her on the Grunty's Lair Rooftop stage.
29. 264 matches: Inferno will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Molten Mount stage.
30. 291 matches: Lars will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Kyoto Castle stage.
31. 300 matches: Blob will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Danger Room stage.
32. 321 matches: Rufus will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Skyscraper Under Construction stage.
33. 341 matches: Guile will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Run-Down Back Alley stage.
34. 354 matches: Abyss will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Delfino Plaza stage.
35. 450 matches or 1 match with Mokujin using Astaroth's fighting style: Edge Master will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the PictoChat stage.
36. 461 matches: Seong Mi-na will challenge the winner to a brawl. She will be yours if you can defeat her on the Battlefield stage.
37. 503 matches: Ken will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Pitch-Black Jungle stage.
38. 519 matches: Magnus will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Great Boggly Tree stage.
39. 616 matches: Marceline will challenge the winner to a brawl. She will be yours if you can defeat her on the Drive-In at Night stage.
40. 662 matches: Hakan will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Oil Works stage.
41. 675 matches: Lizardman will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Lizards' Den stage.
42. 700 matches: Berserker will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Danger Room stage.
43. 722 matches or 20 matches on the Unknown Forest stage: Amy will challenge the winner to a brawl. She will be yours if you can defeat her on the Unknown Forest stage.
44. 768 matches: Susan & Mary will challenge the winner to a brawl. They will be yours if you can defeat them on the Crumbling Laboratory stage.
45. 800 matches: Thanos will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Kyoto Castle stage.
46. 900 matches: Night Terror will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Final Destination stage.
47. 916 matches: Malebolgia will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Depths of Hell stage.
48. 1000 matches: Azazel will challenge the winner to a brawl. He will be yours if you can defeat him on the Azazel's Chamber stage. You'll also unlock the Azazel's Chamber stage after you defeat Azazel.

Bonus Costumes

Versus Mode and Classic Mode are the only game modes where you can unlock Bonus Costumes. In this game mode, you have to play five matches with the following characters (If a Bonus Costume owner's name is italicized, their Bonus Costume will be taken from Tekken: Blood Vengeance.):
