How Megatron joined the Tourney[]
During an assault on the Autobots personally led by Megatron and his minion, Blackout, Megatron crushed an opponent's spark before casually tossing his corpse over his shoulder. Megatron declared that the All Spark would be his, to which Blackout assured his leader that he would make sure of it. Megatron was pleased by his minion's loyalty, but dispatched him to assist Starscream's unit in preventing Optimus Prime's reinforcements from entering Tyger Pax. He then left to meet his destiny, but it slipped from his grasp.
Special Attacks[]
Walther P38 (Neutral)[]
Megatron changes into his Walther P38 form and shoots energy blasts at his opponent. The player can tap B for more hits.
Arm Cannon (Side)[]
Megatron aims his arm cannon forward and shoots a heavy laser from it.
Cyber Rise (Up)[]
Megatron crouches with his right shoulder at the ready, then boosts himself upwards. If anyone is in the way, his shoulder will push him/her skyward.
Flail Spin (Down)[]
Megatron replaces one of his hands with an energy flail and spins it around himself for 3 seconds.
Machine Walther P38 (Hyper Smash)[]
Megatron laughs evilly then turns into his Walther P38 form and shoots multiple shots from his gun mode. After 30 shots, he changes back to his normal form.
Laser Sword Cannon (Final Smash)[]
Megatron raises his arm shouting "You're about to become my slave!" then shoots a long laser from his arm cannon then spin jumps and swings the still active laser in the manner of a sword, heavily knocking anyone away.
Victory Animations[]
- Megatron first does two uppercuts while slowly moving forward saying "Now that was entertaining!".
- Megatron first does two uppercuts while slowly moving forward saying "Hurry along to hell, Optimus!". (Optimus Prime victories only)
- Megatron first does two uppercuts while slowly moving forward saying "I have no use for more Autobots like you!". (Alisa/Bumblebee victories only)
- Megatron shoots three lasers and says "Oppose me and die at my feet!".
- Megatron shoots three lasers and says "That was your last mistake, demon general!" (Kaioh victories only)
- Megatron swings his arms past each other, laughs evilly, then spreads them apart.

- When Megatron fights or defeats Alisa Bosconovitch, his quotes will be the same ones said to Bumblebee.
- Despite his appaerance and voice from the movies, Megatron appears to use his classic Walther P38 form.
- Megatron shares his English voice actor with Elrond.
- Megatron's rival is Kaioh.
