How Kat & Ana joined the Tourney[]
Kat & Ana can be seen in the intro of WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, where they're called by Wario to join his company WarioWare, Inc. to produce microgames for his upcoming game. Like Wario's other friends in Diamond City, Kat & Ana agree. In Kat & Ana's story, a villainous skeleton spirit named Boneheads appears over the Castle in Diamond City at night. He takes possession of the princess/prince who sleeps under the roof. Ana appears along with her crew consisting of five other ninjas. They attack the spirit, but he easily defeats all of them with his two lengthy swords. Only she can still affect something, but she fails as well. Because Ana hasn't a chance against Boneheads, she assigns her animal companion, Don the Sparrow to carry a letter with the message "Ninja girl! Save me!" to her sister Kat to call for help. After he flies off, Boneheads also captures Ana who is captivated with a rope.

Special Attacks[]
Shuriken (Neutral)[]
Kat & Ana go "Shuriken!" as they throw 4 shuriken at their opponent.
Swift Slash (Side)[]
Kat & Ana dash slash forward. If they go past an opponent, it will appear nothing happened, but his/her stomach is cut then he/she is blown away.
Teleportation (Up)[]
Kat & Ana do a ninja style explosion then they appear at a locaiton set by the thumb pad.
Counter Slash (Down)[]
Kat & Ana hold their katanas to their faces. If anyone tries to attack, they do a downward then upward slash, sending him/her away.
Sword Dance (Hyper Smash)[]
Kat & Ana use a special dance combination, in which they fly in from various locations off-screen and cross over at the opponent. After 13 slashes, the attack ends.
Ninjutsu Finish (Final Smash)[]
Kat & Ana raises their swords then rush to attack. If they reach the opponent, they do four deadly slashes and eventually make the opponent go flying.
Victory Animations[]
- Kat & Ana swing their swords around saying "Victory!".
- Kat & Ana sit down to meditate.
- Kat & Ana raise their swords then disappear in an explosion of ninja style.
On-Screen Appearance[]
Kat & Ana appear via ninja explosion at their start point saying "Katana!"
Trivia[]
- In Brawl, Kat & Ana were an Assist Trophy. In Tourney, they are playable characters. This is also true with Waluigi, Lyndis, Gray Fox, Knuckle Joe, Samurai Goroh, Hammer Bro., and Shadow.
- The rival of Kat & Ana is Laurence Blood.
