How Armor King joined the Tourney[]
The mysterious masked wrestler, Armor King... Just who is behind the steel armor and black jaguar mask and what do they seek? The answer is veiled in mystery.
Special Attacks[]
Metal Bash (Neutral)[]
Armor King stretches his arms out horizontally and clenches his fists, and then simply spins in an effort to hit the opponent.
Headbutt Throw (Side)[]
Armor King will spin like a top, sucking his opponent toward him. He will then finish off by throwing a palm strike toward the opponent, launching them.
High Jump (Up)[]
Armor King does a high jump.
Spinning Pile Driver (Down)[]
Armor King grabs his opponent and holds them upside down by the waist, then leaps into the air in a sitting position with the opponent's head between his legs. Spinning rapidly, Armor King slams the opponent headfirst into the ground for massive damage.
Hyper Fire (Hyper Smash)[]
Based on Zangief's Street Fighter IV Super Combo, Armor King attempts to grab the opponent; if successful, he performs two Atomic Suplexes, finishing with a Spinning Piledriver.
Golden Atom (Final Smash)[]
Based on Zangief's Street Fighter IV Ultra Combo, the move starts with Armor King spreading out his arms and attempting to grab the opponent. If successful, Armor King goes behind the opponent and lands a German Suplex. He then lifts the opponent above his head and performs a reverse back breaker on them. Armor King then flings the opponent in the air and jumps up to grab them and finish them with a devastating Spinning Piledriver.
Victory Animations[]
- Armor King shrugs while saying "This is it!".
- Armor King points saying "HURRY!" and then gives two thumbs down with "Give me THE NEXT SOUL!".
- Armor King pumps his fist up twice, then raises it all the way up in victory, all the while saying "Yes! This is it...".
Trivia[]
- Super Smash Bros. Tourney is the first game where Armor King speaks human language. His voice and King's voice sound like Nightmare's Soul Calibur II voice.
- Armor King's pose while being highlighted in Tourney 1 strongly resembles what he was doing in the beginning of his Tekken Tag Tournament 2 intro pose for Player 1. In Tourney 2, it strongly resembles what he was doing in the beginning of his Tekken Tag Tournament 2 intro pose for Player 2.
- Armor King's Super Smash Bros. Tourney rival is Meta Knight. As for his second rival, it is Tiki Tong.
